Saying Goodbye

This picture is the perfect example of a quote from a good friend. He says the best camera is the one you have with you. Normally for this type of picture I would use a tripod and my macro lens. I had neither with me. I had my nikon 18-135 lens. In order to get close to the photo I set the lens to 90mm. The aperture was at 5.6 with the shutter speed being 1/320s. I underexposed by -.7 and I shot multiple frames in rapid succession. This helped to ensure that I would have at least one in focus. My iso was set to 200.
I like the red of the seeds with the yellow outline
I like how the seed has changed color, but the leaves are still green
I wish I had my macro lens and could have set it to 2.8 for more blur on the outside seeds
