This was a fun day. We decided to drive out to Cedar Fort where the Bald Eagle comes for the winter. I was busy taking photos of the Eagles as they were gliding in for the night. The sun was getting pretty low in the sky. I turned around and this was the photo I saw. I was so focused on the eagles that I forgot to adjust the f/stop. I learned a valuable lesson from this photo. You need to be prepared to make quick changes to your settings, and the best photo is not necessarily the photo you were looking for.
The specs
iso 200
70mm
f 2.8
1/400 second
I like how the stream moves in and out of the picture.
I like the reflection of the tree
I would like to reshoot this using a wide lens, tripod, and lower f/stop.
