Rock Canyon

Today was a harsh reminder that we are still in the middle of winter. I am ready for spring and the warmer weather to return. So I decided to look at my photos from a warmer time. This photo was taken in Rock Canyon, Utah this past fall. The colors along the Wasatch Front were spectacular this fall. I loved the way this photo set up, but when I downloaded it to my computer it looked to busy for me. So I took this photo and after my initial processing was complete I finished the editing by using Snap Art 2. After I found the look I wanted I played with the sliders to end up with the finished product.
I like how the dry creek bed draws the eye into the photo.
I like how towards the end of the creek is the red tree. This is the focal point of the photo.
I like the dark cliff at the end of the creek it helps to frame the trees and add contrast to the photo.
Thank you for visiting.
