Fire and Ice

Fire and Ice III

I had just gotten off of work as the sun was setting. It has been several days since our last storm so the air quality had started to deteriorate. This made for the sun to appear as a large orange blob in the sky. I rushed home and then straight to the Lake. I just missed the sun. That was the best part of this sunset. I did however get to my destination right as this scene unfolded. This is the same place I took the photo of the frozen lake just over a week ago. Today the temperature was balmy. In the low 40’s

The specs
iso 200
f/22

7 exposures.

I like how the photo is divided in threes. Odd numbers are always good.
I like the cold snow and ice covered rocks.
I like the intens orange reflections.
I would like the clouds to have more depth.
