Today we received a cold blast directly from the Canada. With this cold air came a quick blast of snow. I thought for todays post I would post a local landmark, Bridal Viel Falls. Back when I was a teenager this was a local hot spot for weekend dances. A tram would take 6 people to the top at a time. In the small building on the top was a small building that on the weekends was used for dances. It was wiped out in a massive avalanche. During the winter months this area is a favorite for local ice climbing location.

I like the sheer cold of this photo.
I like the dark areas near the waterfall.
I would like to take this photo during when the sky is light with a nice sunset to see if some color from the sky might transfer to the ice.
